All the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the state are informed that the State Project Director, SSA decided to organise Summer camps during the summer from May 2nd week to to June 1st week 2016 for all government and aided schools for slow learners for class I to X. It is a follow-up action to organize additional support to those children, who have been identified as slow learners in the summative-3 tests.
Further the the school Readiness and class readiness programme in the name of Phade Bharat and Bhade Bharat {PBBB) which is MHRD flagship programme is decided for new academic year i.e., 2016-17 for a period of about 45 days from 15th June to 10th August 2016 (working days) at the Primary, Upper Primary and High school level of education i.e., from class 1 to X. School readiness program is conducted for class 1st and 2nd and class Readiness classes from class 2nd to to” of Telugu &Urdu medium schools including KGBVs, IERCs and model schools in the state( guidelines enclosed) Summer camps are designed for slow learners to impart the basics in language, Maths and Science for the {Children who are in Grade – C & B in Summative 3) in summer holidays and to use workbooks, so as to equip them for smooth entry into the designated class in the forth coming academic year 2016-17. In this context certain guidelines are issued (enclosed) for organising the summer camps for slow-learners to children.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of SSA in the state are requested to strictly follow the instructions and guidelines issued (enclosed) for organising the summer camps and school Readiness and class Readiness Programme under the name of Phade Bharat and Bhade Bharat {PBBB) for slow learners of classes I to X in the state and also to constitute the monitoring teams of SANKALPAM to monitor the the programme and also submit District implementation plan to SPO.
Further they are submit the achievement reports in the prescribed format to state office without fail and also to identify the children with “C & B” grade in the prescribed format based on the Summative-3 assessment. Further, they are also requested to tag each CRP, DLMTs, Part time Instructors, IERTs and Teachers willing to work voluntarily to the identified school to run the special Classes.
This has approval of the State Project Director of SSA.AP.
